STEP 01
Select 42° East in the satellite list
Open Menu > Installation > Satellite Settings on your receiver and choose 'Türksat 42° East' as the scan target. Other satellites in the list (7°, 16°, 26°…) do not carry Turkish national channels; scanning the wrong satellite returns nothing.

Check signal strength and quality
Watch the Strength and Quality bars on the same screen. Quality should sit above 60%. If the bar stays empty, the LNB cable may be loose: reseat the connector at the dish arm and at the receiver's tuner input.
If signal died completely after a thunderstorm, a burnt LNB is the most common cause — the quality bar stays at 0 even though settings are untouched.

Run the automatic (blind) scan
Go to Menu > Channel Search > Automatic Scan and pick 'Blind Scan' or 'Full Network Scan'. The scan takes 5-15 minutes; do not power off the receiver. This finds channels whose frequencies changed without any manual entry.

Add a transponder manually (one package missing)
If only one package is missing, open Channel Search > Manual (TP) and enter the missing row: 12380 H 27500 (TRT package), 11958 V 27500 (national commercial package), 12015 H 27500 (national commercial package). Match polarization and symbol rate exactly, then start the scan.

Sort and save the channel list
After the scan finishes, confirm 'Save List'. Channels arrive in frequency order: enable 'LCN / Channel Number' sorting in List > Sort so channels align to the broadcaster's official numbers (TRT 1 = 1, Show TV = 3, etc.).

- Try a blind scan before a factory reset — the reset also wipes satellite and LNB settings and forces full re-installation.
- Picture freezing during heavy rain is rain fade on a marginal signal, not a misaligned dish. Shielding the dish from direct wind reduces winter dropouts.
- Second-hand receivers often ship with shop-loaded lists. Enable LCN after scanning to restore the official channel numbering.
