STEP 01
Check wallet and V-Bucks
V-Bucks and Epic wallet balance are lost with deletion. Spend remaining balances first; if you have an active Fortnite Crew subscription, cancel it on epicgames.com.

Sign in to the account page
Go to epicgames.com/account/personal and sign in. This page shows your name, email, connected platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo) and privacy options.
STEP 03
Click 'Delete Account'
Press the 'Delete Account' button at the very bottom. Epic reminds you that connected platform links and cosmetics will also be removed.
STEP 04
Enter the email verification code
Epic emails a 6-digit verification code. Enter it and finalize the deletion request. Deletion does not start without this verification.
STEP 05
Complete the 14-day period
The account stays deactivated for 14 days; signing in cancels the deletion. At the end, the account, games, inventory and platform links are permanently deleted. Logging in during the window is enough to revert.

- Unlink connected platforms (PSN/Xbox/Nintendo) before deleting; linking rules on a new account may require it.
- The email verification code can land in spam — check the folder if it does not arrive.
- If you only want to stop emails, Settings > Preferences is enough; account deletion is not required.
