STEP 01
Sign in to Amazon.de
Open amazon.de and sign in. Go to 'Hallo, <name>' > 'Mein Konto' > 'Prime' in the top right.
STEP 02
Open 'Mitgliedschaft beenden'
On the Prime page click 'Mitgliedschaft beenden' (or 'Update, cancel and more'). Amazon shows three retention screens — each time choose the small 'Mitgliedschaft beenden' link at the bottom.
STEP 03
Choose the end option
If you are in the paid period, select 'zum Ende des Abrechnungszeitraums beenden': the membership stays active until the period you paid for ends and no new charge is made.
STEP 04
Confirm and keep the email
Amazon sends a confirmation email with the membership end date. Your remaining Prime Video/Audible access continues until then.
STEP 05
Check the refund line
Look for the refund entry under Bestellungen > Prime membership invoice; trial refunds land on your card within 3-5 business days.
Dicas
- The cancellation screens are deliberately designed toward 'continue'; look for the small grey link on every screen.
- If you use an Amazon Household share, remove the share before cancelling.
- To catch a Prime Day sale, schedule the cancellation for the end of your period — the membership stays active until then.
