Run the safety checks
Make sure the area under the boiler is dry; if you see standing water, find the leak first. Check that radiator valves are open.
Locate the filling loop
On Baymak models the filling loop is a grey/black plastic or brass tap under the boiler; on some models you turn a lever to 'open'. Your manual's diagram shows which valve is the loop.
Don't confuse the loop with the gas valve: the gas valve has a yellow lever and pipes toward the gas line. If unsure, check the manual before turning anything.
Slowly raise pressure to 1.2–1.8 bar
Open the loop slowly while watching the display. Close it around 1.5 bar. Never exceed 2.5 bar; overpressure vents water through the safety valve.
Don't walk away while filling — an open loop left unattended is the most common cause of overpressure and water damage.
Close the loop firmly and reset
Turn the loop fully closed. If the display shows a lockout, press reset or power-cycle the breaker for 30 seconds.
Watch the pressure over the next days
After a correct refill the pressure should stay stable for weeks. If it drops in 2–3 days, bleed radiators again and retry. Continued drops mean a leak in the system.

- After each refill, double-check the loop is closed by turning it gently by hand.
- Photograph the pressure reading to show the service how fast it drops.
- Loops connected to plumbing with a check valve won't fill while that valve is closed.

Drain a little water from any radiator bleed valve to bring it to 1.5–1.8 bar. If it climbs to 3 bar repeatedly and the safety valve opens, have the expansion vessel checked.
