STEP 01
Sign in to my MEO
Open meo.pt or the my MEO app. Open 'Suporte'; your tariff, fidelização status and remaining amount are shown there.
STEP 02
Start the cancelamento request
Tap 'Cancelar o meu serviço'. The system lists reasons and the suggested date. Pick a reason and confirm; a request number arrives on screen and by SMS.
STEP 03
Phone alternative
Dial 16200 from a MEO line (from abroad +351 216 000 620). Say 'Pretendo cancelar o serviço'. Decline retention offers and ask for the protocolo number.
STEP 04
Fidelização and final bill
If the fidelização is not over, remaining months × the monthly discount are billed. The final bill is prorated by day; check it under my MEO > Faturação.
STEP 05
Return the equipment
For fiber cancellations the router/box must be shipped back within 30 days using the prepaid label sent by email; otherwise equipment fees apply.
