Permanently delete your Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or X account with direct links and clear steps.
To delete a ChatGPT account, sign in at chatgpt.com and go to Settings > Data Controls > Delete account; OpenAI emails you a permanent deletion link, and clicking it after verification deletes the account. Deletion is irreversible and covers chat history, subscriptions and API keys. Before deleting, cancel any active ChatGPT Plus subscription and check API credit refund conditions.
Delete your Discord account in-app: User Settings > My Account > 'Remove Account' and confirm. Deletion takes effect after a 14-day window; if you don't log in during that time, the account and its data are permanently removed. If you own servers, transfer or delete them first; alternatively disable the account temporarily.
To delete an Epic Games account, sign in at epicgames.com/account/personal, click the 'Delete Account' button at the bottom of the page and confirm the verification code. The deletion request keeps the account deactivated for 14 days; logging in during that period cancels it. V-Bucks and cosmetics are deleted — spend wallet balances and cancel subscriptions first.
Delete Facebook permanently at facebook.com/account/delete. After the request, a 30-day window starts; if you don't log in, the account and its data are erased. Messenger is deleted too, WhatsApp stays separate.
You can permanently delete your Google account at myaccount.google.com/delete. First export your data with Google Takeout — Gmail, Drive, Photos, YouTube and Play purchases are removed. If the account runs your Android phone, add another account first. There is a short recovery window after deletion.
Delete Instagram permanently at instagram.com/accounts/remove/request/permanent: sign in, pick a reason, confirm with your password. The account is erased 30 days later; logging in during that window cancels the deletion.
To delete a Snapchat account, sign in at accounts.snapchat.com/accounts/delete_account and confirm your username/password. The account stays 'deactivated' for 30 days; if you do not log in during that window it is permanently deleted, and logging in restores it. On iOS you can also go through Settings > Account Actions inside the app.
To delete a Steam account, use the wizard at help.steampowered.com/tr/wizard/HelpDeleteAccount; after identity verification a deletion request starts a 30-day waiting period. At the end, games, wallet balance, profile and inventory are permanently deleted — spend your wallet balance first. Steam may pause deletion requests during refunds or payment disputes.
Delete your Telegram account from telegram.org/deactivate in a browser: enter your number, confirm the code, optionally state a reason and press 'Delete My Account'. Deletion is permanent — chats, groups and channels are removed. Alternatively, set the auto-delete-if-away timer inside the app.
Delete TikTok via Profile > Menu > Settings and privacy > Account > Deactivate or delete account. The account stays deactivated for 30 days, then is permanently erased. Logging in during that window restores it.
To permanently delete a WhatsApp account, go to Settings > Account > Delete account in the app; once you confirm your number, messages, backups and groups are removed from all devices. Data fully clears within about 90 days; re-registering the number starts a brand-new account. There is no suspension option — if you only need a break, deleting the app may be enough.
To delete X, open x.com/settings/account and use 'Deactivate your account' at the bottom of the page. After 30 days without logging in, all posts and data are permanently deleted.
