STEP 01
Sign in to KT membership
Log in at member.kt.com (공인인증서 or 간편인증). Open '서비스 해지' (service cancellation); your 상품, 약정 status and 위약금 are shown there.
STEP 02
Start the 해지 request
Click '해지 신청' for the service (휴대폰/인터넷/TV). The system shows 약정 기간, 위약금 and the recommended 해지일. Pick a reason and confirm.
STEP 03
Phone alternative
Dial 100 from a KT line. Say '해지하고 싶습니다'. Identity verification (생년월일, 본인확인) runs; decline 재가입 권유 offers and ask for the 접수번호.
STEP 04
Close via number porting (MNP)
To keep the number, get the 이동전화번호 이동신청 코드 (MNP 인증번호) from 114 or the membership portal. Enter it during signup at the new operator; the KT line closes automatically on the porting date.
STEP 05
Installments and equipment
Remaining 휴대폰 할부 installments continue after 해지. For internet/TV, a courier pickup is scheduled for the 모뎀/셋톱박스; unreturned equipment is billed.

- MNP 인증번호 is the cleanest way to close without penalty — choose it whenever you keep the number.
- On 100 choose the '해지' menu; '요금제 변경' routes you into retention screens.
