No Satellite Signal: Dish, LNB and Frequency Fixes
Independent guide — no official affiliation with the platforms mentioned.
छोटा जवाब
A 'no signal' or 'low signal quality' message usually comes from dish misalignment, a faulty LNB, a kinked cable or outdated frequency data. In order: check cable connections, run a manual scan with current Türksat frequencies, and if quality is below ~60% have the LNB/dish checked. Temporary drops during snow/storms are normal; clearing snow fixes it.

STEP 01
Check cables and connectors
Make sure the satellite cable is firmly plugged into the TV/receiver and has no kinks or crush marks along the run. Tighten loose coax connectors by hand; oxidized outdoor connectors are a classic signal-loss cause.
STEP 02
Manual scan with current frequencies
In your TV go to Channel setup > Manual scan. Enter current values from Türksat's official frequency page (e.g. 11794 H 30000 via 4A/5B) and scan. Outdated frequency lists are the most common user-caused 'no signal' situation.
STEP 03
Read signal strength and quality
The manual scan screen shows strength and quality bars. Strength with low quality points to dish alignment/LNB; both zero means a broken cable/LNB connection. Quality should be above ~60%.
STEP 04
Check snow and storm effects
Snow buildup on the dish kills the signal; clear it with a soft brush (no hard objects). Temporary loss in heavy storms is normal and returns when weather clears. Recurring snow issues can be solved with a dish cover.
STEP 05
LNB and dish alignment
If the steps above fail, suspect a faulty LNB or misaligned dish: strong winds can move it. Testing with a spare LNB or precision-aligning the dish is technical work — call a satellite technician. On multi-satellite (DiSEqC) systems, check the satellite selection.
सुझाव
- In shared-building systems the fault may be at the central amplifier, not your TV — ask neighbors if they are affected.
- When replacing an LNB, keep the 'Universal (9750/10600)' setting to avoid single-LNB issues.
- The satellite input on the TV is the port labeled 'Satellite/LNB'; do not confuse it with the antenna (DVB-T) input.

अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्न
Signal strength is full but quality is zero — what does that mean?
Power and cabling work, but the LNB is not pointing at the correct satellite: dish misalignment or LNB fault. Wrong frequencies also show zero quality; scan with current values first, then check the dish.
Channels freeze in rainy weather — is that normal?
Short freezes (rain fade) are normal on Türksat frequencies; heavy rain weakens the signal. Constant freezing suggests a small dish (under 60 cm) or an aged LNB; an 80-90 cm dish and a new LNB fix it.
My channel list was wiped — how do I restore it?
Run an automatic/manual scan with current frequencies. Some TVs support restoring a channel list from USB; backing up the list before scanning prevents the loss. Follow Türksat's official announcements for broadcast changes.
