STEP 01
Tell normal vs abnormal crease
With the inner screen off, view it against a white wall: a light vertical fold mark in the center is normal. Color shifts, bulges or cracks mean a panel defect — service needed.
STEP 02
Increase touch sensitivity
Enable Settings > Display > Touch Sensitivity. If the screen protector bubbles at the fold, touch dies only along the hinge line.
STEP 03
Inspect the screen protector
Samsung's factory protector creates a 'scratch-like' pattern at the fold; never peel it. If it lifted at the edge, Samsung service replaces it free — avoid third-party protectors.

Run Samsung diagnostics
