Open the deletion page
Go to facebook.com/account/delete and select your account.
Confirm deletion
Enter your password and click 'Delete my account'. Facebook announces the 30-day cancel window.
Don't log in for 30 days
Logging in — including into Messenger — cancels the deletion.
Full data cleanup can take up to 90 days after deletion starts.

- If you manage Pages, assign a new admin first — Pages get deleted with the account.
